When cars were invented, they were much slower and people didn't die as a result. Why have we allowed them to be manufactured with the capability of driving at such high speeds when it causes such carnage? It is not natural for people to die and get hurt like this. So why doesn't society see the disaster they have created and do away with cars, or at least do away with cars that can drive so fast? There is no reason people need to be in a hurry. Driving slowly (or using horse and carriage) will still get you where you need to go. Why do we permit the risk of fast driving cars when so many people get hurt by them?

Anything can cause death.
There are driver's education courses that teach you how to drive. By now, it's common knowledge to anyone old enough to do so.
Why do you ride a bike when you can still go just as fast? Walking can kill you too. Trains? Same thing. Same goes for planes. Any mode of transportation CAN kill you, but the odds are, it won't.
Paranoid much?
