B/c we allow ourselves to. We can develop a connection with a person only if we allow ourselves to. We can hit hard, and bounce back easily. Or we linger and let it soak in then be crushed once we're trying to move on. It depends on genetic make-up/personalities/experiences. Usually you fall in love too fast if you're more trusting.
