This is probably a primary school type question but as far as I know they all create gravitational pulls on objects. I'm thinking that it's because they have a negative magnetic affect on each other but I'd like the answer to be more in depth.

Thats also possibly true, but if they were orbiting wouldnt they be pulling closer to each other?
When we orbit the sun it pulls on us. But since we're moving so fast around the sun we don't get pulled in.
Yes I know stars and very thing in the universe is moving.
But my question was why do they repel each other.
That's true but even so. We orbit around the sun so my thinking is a sun next to another sun should orbit each other.
