why do girls have to bleed every 28 days and why does it always feel wet down there and how do you stop it or make it easier. I NEED HELP AND FAST PLZ HELP
BTW- plz means please if you do not know !!!
Hey lala1398,
The most basic answer for why periods happen is because a woman's body is designed to handle childbirth. When a woman gets her period, she is capable of becoming pregnant. When a woman is pregnant, her body will not have a period. The period blood is used to nourish the baby.
When a woman is not pregnant, her body collects blood and then dumps it when the egg that is needed to make the baby is not fertilized. The period is the way a woman's body USUALLY tells a her that she is not pregnant and that her body does not need to keep the blood to nourish a baby. Most women have there periods for 3-5 days and it happens every 28-32 days, however its perfectly normal if you do not fall into these ranges. Speak to a doctor if you have questions specifically about your period cycle.
As for it being wet down there, that is normal too.Your body makes natural secretions for different purposes. Although if you ever have a foul smell, color, pain, or itching in that area, that is abnormal and requires a doctors visit. You cannot stop a period and the only way to make it "easier" is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to handle your period. There are feminine products called pads or tampons to manage the bleeding during your period.
Your post makes me feel like you are rather young and you have many questions. If that is the case, I am glad you are asking them. However, you should probably ask your guardian or doctor for more personalized advice. You should never feel embarrassed to ask questions like this, EVERYONE has experienced questions about their bodies.
Good luck lala1398! hope i helped you some!
