I read the following: וְלָתֵת as "even to the placing" (of an abomination of desolation: 1290 days.) Therefore, the text indicates that the removal of the "daily (service)" comes 1290 days before the AD is placed? But all translations but Young's Literal leave out the "to the." Which do you say is correct?
Why do nearly all translations of Daniel 12:11 leave out the lamed = "to" ?

Daniel 12:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Daniel 12:11 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
11 and from the time of the turning aside of the perpetual [sacrifice], and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, [are] days a thousand, two hundred, and ninety.
So what are we talking about?
We are talking about the "TO THE" [giving out/placing] found in Young's, but not in the KJV. The "to" indicates that the 1290 days BEGIN with the taking away/removal, and END with the Abomination of Desolation.
In contrast, the KJV leads to an understanding that both removal and abomination take place at the same time. Big difference, in light of Matt. 24:15's prophecy by Jesus about the AD.
