I have a very good credit score, I am employed and yet leasing companies refusing to lease a car to me as I am not getting car allowance. I live in the UK.
i would see if your boss can get you a car so you can drive it sounds like a hard one to get as is but you might have a better chance if you went through your company and got it
the thing is that I already have a company car but looking to lease one for personal use (not business)
The problem I have is to understand the principle behind why is required to have either car allowance or mileage allowance in order to lease car for personal use. Most of the leasing companies have two leasing options; business and personal. As I am looking for personal option and use it outside my working hours why would I need to prove them that company that I work for provides car or mileage allowance. It just doesn't make any sense!
