Why do different people draw different scenes in a cartoon sometimes?

I'm pretty sure it is to make the process faster or else it would take forever to make a cartoon. Also it can also be because some people could be better at drawing certain things more than some other person they are working with.

Ex.) Person #1 may be good at drawing a scene with animals in it, while Person #2 is better at doing scenes with people.
