Why is your God a jealous God? I believe Cain was the start of your God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit’ true people. Cain was a jealous murderer and he was protected by your God. And the Bible does say, “ God is a jealous God.” And Cain killed Abel because of jealousy. Show me that Cain was not the start of these people, the Americans, who I believe are your God’ true chosen people?

*** Jehovah cursed Cain and banished him from the environs of Eden. The curse already pronounced on the ground apparently would be more pronounced in Cain’s case, and the earth would not respond to his cultivating of it. He was to be a wanderer and a fugitive in the earth. Cain’s complaint at the severity of his sentence expressed anxiety that his brother’s murder would be avenged upon him, but he manifested no sincere repentance. Jehovah set up “a sign” for Cain—likely a solemn decree known and observed by others and intended to prevent his being killed out of revenge.—Genesis 4:10-15.
Cain then “went away from the face of Jehovah and took up residence in the land of Fugitiveness to the east of Eden.” (Genesis 4:16) Having taken a wife from among his sisters or nieces, he built a city that he named after Enoch, his firstborn son. Cain’s descendant Lamech turned out to be as violently inclined as his ungodly forebear. But the family line of Cain was wiped out in the Flood of Noah’s day.—Genesis 4:17-24.
When God said that he is a jealous God, that doesn't mean the way that humans think of jealous. It means that God wants his creations, his children to love no other god but him. To serve no other god but him, to praise and worship no other god but him. Remember also that the bible was not originally written in today's language. The holy scriptures were written thousands of years ago and were TRANSLATED to today's language. And as all people know who learn more than one language, there are words that don't translate the right way. Also a certain race is not God's chosen people, his chosen people are all different kinds of race. It is the spirit that matters. Not the country or the color of somebody's skin. And also killing is not the only way to punish someone, I know certani cultures have a hard time realizing that.
It really starts first with why did God allow the first sinners Adam and Eve to continue living. Nothing could be worst than the first sin ever because the scriptures state just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin. (Rom 5:12) So even the grave sin that Cain delivered to his brother along with the billions of other blood guilt on this earth all stemmed from our first parents. So the question us still why is God allowing unrighteous one back then and also now still continue on? Well at Matt 24 3 starting at verse 3 Jesus actually foretold times being like they are now. Wars, violence, food shortage. All of the things we see on the regular. But in our favor the bible also tells us of a time when these things will be done and over with. At Psm 37 10, 11 Jehovah (God's name) says that the righteous will inherit the earth whIle at verse 29 it says the wicked will be no more. So ones that do bad things won't be an issue any longer
God did let Cain live, but he also cursed him. He would have to live with his sorrow for the rest of his life. When the bible says God is a jealous God, it means that God is jealous of us. Like a man whose wife is cheating on him, he loves her so much and she is "his" so he can be jealous of her. God can be jealous of us because we are his and we have fallen from him. The bible says that the Jews are God's chosen people. Cain was not the start-he was the start of murder though.
