Why did the temperature of the calorimeter decrease when a solute is added?

When you mix two substances, it might take some energy to combine them. For instance, a cake has to be heated before it becomes a cake. That is called endothermic. which means "heat in" which is to say the reaction absorbs heat.

Other mixtures are exothermic, which means "heat out", and that means they get hotter.

Calorimeter is a isolated system.
Where heat cannot enter or leave it but when we add solute it absorbs the energy from the fluid so temperature decrease.
