Why did a man in the street ask my age?

I am 15. A man in the street that was double my age asked how old i was. Why did he do that? Should i worry?

Your answer to him should have been, "Why do you want to know?"

Asking us will get you no where.  We weren't there, we don't know him, and he didn't tell us.

Odds are he was being a pervert. No one randomly asks how old you are unless they want to "get with you". 

Next time anyone randomly asks you that for no reason, ask them back, "Why do you need to know?" Put them on the spot and make them feel uncomfortable. If they're asking for any reason that is unprofessional, they'll back off.
