In October of 2015...I decided to switch my diet to a plant based diet. Before I made that decision, I was still very healthy...I have never been a bread/white carbs lover and never craved processed foods and ate the very minimum of white carbs. Of course I had something here and there.
Since I took all meat and dairy out of my diet, I have gained about 5 lbs. I dont understand why. I used to run cross country and limit myself to running 2 miles a day...sometimes just a few miles a week...but instead of long distance running i do a very intense boxing class 3/4 times a week.
My diet includes all greens, beans/legumes, vegetables, almond butter, small portions of fruit. and depending on how much i work out I might have some quinoa. I eat when Im hungry and usually is some type of salad...I am not a carbs lover because it makes me bloated.
There is just no reason why I should be gaining weight and I am just concerned. I mean sometimes I eat at night because I am so hungry....so I eat some carrots or celery. I eat completely clean. Anyone have a suggestion on what could be wrong or what I am doing wrong?
