I browsed some old history books with the list of the Presidents and I am really wondering who's the best president for the people and if only the other Pres can do what he did.

this really depends on who you talk to. Many people think that Abraham Lincoln was the best president, others think it was Franklin D. Roosevelt and others think it was John F. Kennedy. This is really a matter of personal opinion.
But according to wikipedia the highest ranking on a list of the greatest presidents is Abraham Lincoln.
