Who discovered the earth?

What an interesting question, and a very logical one since it seems everything was discovered at one point. In school in science class we are taught, Sir Isaac Newton discovered the law of gravity. Edison discovered electricity, and many others have made discoveries that has and is bringing comfort and convenience to us today.

A discovery as large as finding a planet just the right size, with just the right makeup of gases to accommodate not just human, but also animal life, with just the right distance from the sun, should have been recorded in some book, and it's discoverer given credit for finding it.

One man was asked a similar question, his name was Job. This is what his answer was, “Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth?” and, “Who set its measurements, in case you know?”—Job 38:4, 5.
This one was not only the discoverer of the earth but the creator of it as well.
“This is what Jehovah says, the Creator of the heavens, the true God, the One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited: ‘I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.’”—Isaiah 45:18.

So now you know who discovered the earth, why. The real question is how do we fit in his plan? To further explore this question, I invite you to go to jw.org , research, "Why are we here."

No one discovered the earth. The earth was revieled to us as we gradually discovered it, revieling a full earth discovered by many people. If you manage to find a place were no one knows about on earth, then you have contributed to the discovery of earth.

Everybody who ever lived discovered the earth by falling into it. Every little kids gets a mouthful of it and learns to keep his feet under himself.
