Which soldiers shows more heroism and valor? Civil War soldiers or The War on Terrorism soldiers?

You can't reasonably make a comparison, soldiers are soldiers no matter what conflict they are in OR what side they are on. Heroism and valour come from the individual not the conflict.

Sadly I have to answer it. This is for an essay. I like having other people's response to this kind of stuff.

Terrorism has always referred to the way a government treats its citizens. It still does, but the government lies to make people think they are battling something else. At least the civil war soldiers knew what they were fighting against. (Nobody has ever figured out what they were fighting for.)
