I am a first time snake buyer but am not a big fan of the usual recommended snakes for first timers. For example the Corn, Milk or the Garter snakes don't catch my interest appearance wise. I was very interested in the Mexican Black Kingsnake until I learned they only grow from 3-4 ft long. The Kingsnakes in general caught my eye but am hoping for something a little larger in size. Any feedback is helpful please.
Which snakes are dark in color and long in size that I can have as a pet as a first time snake buye?

Just want to say emerald tree boas are hard because they have huge teeth and a bad temper(no all the time) and milk snakes are too shy. I think a black rat is a good choice
