Which pokemon is better to have on a team, gyarados or wailord?

I play pokemon moon and I need new members to my team. I'm replacing my beloved vaperoen with gyarados or wailord. I can't decide which on is better to have. My team has incineroar, buzzwole, charizard, tapu bulu, and solgaleo. Which should i pick gyarados or wailord?

Personally, I'd pick Gyarados, it has a higher stat total and better move pool

Gyarados has better stats, but it depends on what Pok&eacute;mon you end up fighting. I'd stick with Gyarados though. Better stats over Wailord.
