And which is great on gas?.

According to Warranty Direct in Jan 2013 Audi had a repair claim of 1 out 27 cars for Audi while it was 1 in 44 for BMW so BMW are more reliable. However nether company can take pride in this as they are in the bottom 10. The most reliable car make is Honda with 1 car in 344 going wrong! Best German make of course was Mercedes Benz with 1 in 171.
For fuel economy I place Audi over BMW with equivalent models, as they design for performance as a sporting driver brand.
Which would you prefer or breaks much less? Its ok for the confusion. And is there a reliable luxury car other then japanese?.
Please note that the statistics are against engine relibility so indicate a serious breakdown. If the whole car is taken into consideration then BMW just beats Audi but still way down the list with Honda & the Japanese at the top.
Surprisingly if you want a the most reliable Luxury/exective car then the Mercedes made 06-09, are the best in this sector with a failure rate of 10%, ( I suppose the cheaper models such as the A Class drags them down in the make ratings).
Lexus were 2, 3 &4, Jaguar @ 5th only just loosing to the Lexus!
At the end of the day I will put reliability as a major factor as my time is money & is no good to me in the garage or leaving me stran dedbut not in isolation as driving quality, saftey, style, comfort, etc all have influence & need to be balanced.
Sorry it sent my comment off before I had corrected & edited!
Boring as it is, its a Mercedes for me please!
Why mercedes i thought they break a lot and are expensive to repair wouldn't you rather an audi over mercedes?.
The Mercedes reliability rate even with the engine was 1 car failure out of 171 ( in the top 10 best), whereas the Audi was significantly higher at 1 in 44 (in the bottom 10). With the executive Mercedes the repair bill averaged only around £200.
So which mercedes class you think would be best for me?. I like small or mid-size executive sedan. Please and thank.
The most reliable car in Europe is the E-Class witha reliability index (RI) of 26 (the average being 100 & lower being better).
The C-Class has a respectable RI of 44 but steer clear of pre 2004 built.

I have asked a couple of people in the trade who both confirm these findings.
It has to be said that failure rates are a probabilities, so it does not mean that it won't breakdown, its just less likely too.
Do you think ford mustangs are reliable?.
I don't know how they compare to Mercedes etc, but they are supposed to be. I think a Mustang is something you buy with your heart, not your head.
Range rover?
Reliability?
Range Rover are the paragon of awful.
How about audi. Good?
Please answer.
As I said earlier, Audi has lost its triple A rating regarding reliability, (1 out 27 cars in the first year need repair), but they are generally well designed &, liked. They are being challenged by the quality & durability of cars from the far east.
In the wake of driving my 1994 Ford Contour for a long time now since secondary school, I at last found a $50k work after a broad meeting process and have chosen to get an auto that all the more enough matches my new wage level. I'm supposing model year 2010 or 2011, and I'm taking a gander at either an Audi A4 or 3 Series BMW.
Reread that last sentence & should of added in "as Bmw are designed for performance as a sporting driver brand". Sorry for any confusion!
