I have a book from Maurice Leblanc, but I don't know what the original french title is.
This is the first paragraph:
"Everybody was listening intently. Lupin sprawled in his armchair comfortably, took a puff from his cigar, did vivid gestures, that the others seated around him listened with avid interest."
(Sorry for my english. I'm not native speaker.)
The beginning of the story is something like that:
It's about a bet. They talk about the fortune of Lupin, that's why somebody suggests that Lupin goes to Ganimard, and say hello. And Lupin does it.
Can somebody - maybe a fan - recognize this book?
