Robert E. Peary was the arctic explorer who claimed to be the first man on the North Pole. In the 1890's he was exploring the northern and eastern terminus of Greenland. His home base at that time was a large house in the Inglefield Gulf area. His daughter Marie Ahnighito "The Snow Baby" was born in this house.
Robert Peary reports that he built Anniversary Lodge at the head of Bowdoin Bay. However, this name is no longer in use. Therfore the location could be on either side of McCormick Bay or Baldwin Bay, but where?
Where exactly was Robert E. Peary's 'Anniversary Lodge'? Longitude and Latitude?
