The world seems to be getting out of control, it makes you wonder, who can you trust.
Friends turn on you, family say they will be there but are not. Can't seem to trust anyone not even your so called partner for life. I know I'm not the only one looking for answers. But who has them? Help!
Where can I get answers?

This is a really deep question, but I believe every question has an answer. This is something more along the lines of it's just part of what your heart tells you. And, depending on who you are, weather or not you give second chances. If you feel the number of friends you can trust is getting really small, make some new ones! The heart doesn't lie, and if you think it does, it was most likely not your heart you were listening too. Like how it's hard to describe, when you see someone that you will want or need to trust later, you just simply know.
Oh. You are just seeing the universe as it is. We contribute nothing to the universe and there is no point in doing anything since it will always do nothing. We will all die in a few million years anyway. Ñøthïńg māttērš. You are just understanding what is really going on. Nothing wrong with that.
Trust like respect must be earned. To trust others means to believe that they are honest and sincere and that they will not deliberately do anything that will hurt you. So, trust is developed slowly, we know we live in a world where it can be destroyed in an instant. With so many sensing that their trust has been abused, it is no wonder that people are reluctant to have confidence in others.
But, trust is vital for a happy life. If we were to withdraw from people to avoid the risk of being let down, that not a solution. Being mistrustful of others rob us of our own happiness. To lead a contented life, we need relationships based on a mutual trust.
Since we have a basic need to put our trust in someone, why not start with God, he will never let you down. God's love influences everything he does. God understands us better than anyone else does. Of course each of us need to trust people. God's word gives us advice as to the kind of individuals we should trust. By reading the Bible carefully, we can take note of his counsel on the matter. We need to be selective when choosing those whom we place our trust. In deciding whom we can trust, we must be patient, since trust is earned over a period of time. Being selective and patient may help to avoid big disappointments.
It would be wonderful to live in a world were people were trustworthy, it will happen in the near future. The Bible promises the coming of a beautiful "new earth" free from deceit, lies, and exploitation, free from sorrow, sickness, even death.
It is so worthwhile to find out about the wonderful prospects that God has in store for those who choose to learn about his righteous standards and principles, and then apply them to their lives. Trust begin with each individual. We need to prove that we are trustworthy first.
