Hi! I'm 12 years old, Ill be 13 in about 2 weeks and I'm wondering when I'll get my period. I've had discharge for almost a year now. All of my friends, and even younger girls, have theirs and I feel so bad inside for not having it yet. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Girls usually get their period between ages 8-15, which is why some of your friends have already gotten their first period. There isn't really an age I can tell you when it will start but if you ever get really close to age 15, you NEED to see a doctor. If it makes you feel better I got my period at age 13(it was 3 more months until I turned 14:p) Don't feel bad for not having your period yet you don't want those stomach cramps trust me, it will eventually come and you'll get to eat chocolate because it helps with the cramps:)
If you're really concerned or it hurts down there (i know tmi) ask your mom or your parent guardian to take you to the doctor. I'm sorry this was so long and hope I helped a bit:))
{Look at my response to your other question} Sam I always tell you this! You don't need your period. You are beautiful they way you are! Inside and out. Plus periods suck! I told u this before!! You shouldn't WANT to have one you should dread the day and have fun while u don't have one! I got mine at a younger-ish age probz bc my parents gave me odd foods that increase it like hotdogs! You only eat the most healthy foods XD and now that I am older I do too. REMEMBER YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND U R ME BESTIE 4 LIFE!! I mean we have already been bestiez for 10 years why stop now?
