When reading a message on whatsapp does it display your status as 'online' or 'typing'?

i'm sure that what ever the apps you are using have all those capibilitys plus others depending on what the app is

When a message is being read, the status of the reader shows as 'online'. The only time 'typing' would be showed would be if there were a glitch. Typically, though, 'typing' is only your status when you are actually typing.
