When I type example.com it will be redirected example.com/xx but I prefer to see example.com?

when I type in www.example.com, it will be redirected to www.example.com/xx which i have assigned in that way but I prefer to see www.example.com only. How do i achieve this?

Every website has a default file and that is what you get, regardless of what you want.
