What's your first memory ? Include your age and why you remember it?

My first memory is learning to walk aged about sixteen months. I was at my grandmother's house and I'd pulled myself up to my feet using a small. My mother was encouraging me to walk towards her and I managed it without falling over and remember how pleased everyone was about it.
