i've been searching , he was born in Genova ;Italy. but worked and died in Spain.
in the oxford definiton he's " Italian-born Spanish explorer".what's the correct one spanish or italien and if he's like the previous definition then why or how did he get the spanish nationality?and why his nationality is a problem?
