I'm looking for a TV special that aired a few years back. I wanted to know the name of this special or even, if possible, where to find it. It was either on the history channel or discovery channel I'm not sure. The special was about human vestigiality. In the special, the host talked about different vestigial traits that humans have and why we have them such as why humans have the ability to see faces that may not be there. Other topics in the show were of hypnic jerks (when you're suddenly jolted awake during sleep), or even why we make wincing or cringing expressions when we smell something unpleasant, or when we hear unpleasant sounds such as nails on the chalkboard. The host discussed the reasons for why we have these traits. The reasons being because they were needed to survive while humans were evolving from monkeys. The host was a white man and the studio was white with a board that he used to display images of what he was talking about. Please help me find it. It is an amazing special.
