I weight about 200 pounds and I am about 5'9. I want a nice sports bike but preferably a Kawasaki Ninja.

If you can find a 2002 Kawasaki ninja zx-6r its a great bike to start on. I own one, gave it a streetfighter look and the first time i rode it was only my 3rd time on a motorcycle so i was very inexperienced. its a great bike, not to much power, but still enough to have a wicked rush when you get on it in 2nd and 3rd!
