hi, Im 12 and weigh around 10 stone i'm the heaviest in my class, but also the tallest. i am a bit self conscious about my highs and stomach, so i am trying to do a healthy summer thing.I do exercise usually for a hour and a half every afternoon, and on mondays i add an additional 1.5 hours as i do grade 6 ballet.
despite this nothing is happening to my weight except it going up. Is this something to do with my diet?
I go to full time boarding school, so this may be it; but in the holidays i eat always extremely healthy because i find at school my acne always breaks out.so i eat healthy at home and my skin clears up.
Please answer because i really want to lose the extra fat!!!!!

Im 14 and was the very same in school I taugh that I wasnt eating a lot until I cut junk food totally out of my diet! I know we are teens and we like to eat it but its so bad for our bodys try and drink as much water as you can idealy 2 liters a day fat existing the body through the eurine so drinking water will help that eating fruit and vegetables help too I wouldnt advice you to go on any diets since your body is growing and changing which may be causing the extra weight I wouldn't recommend exercising every day I would do a workout monday maybe a run Wednesday a workout friday and a cycle sunday your rest days are just as important as your exercise days hope I helped!
well since your only 12 , and im around your age , your exercise plan should be around the same as mine. you can do atleast 50 squats and crunches everyday and start to see results within a few weeks . I do more than than that but im not involved in ballet like you are so you are more active and probably don't need to but it helps my apperence. the crunches and squats will tighten your stomach , thighs , legs and the butt ; P hope this helped.
That isn't healthy to be doing all those squats everyday, I do squats but you have to take breaks because your leg muscle can tear, and that can cause you to have serious walking problems when you are older, or it even can break your leg, split your days up, do 50 squats and crunches and wait for 2-3 days for your body to heal so your muscle is stronger, and do it again, and you can also get a bigger butt that way. -3-
Curl ups, pull ups and push ups would do. Since that you are still a kid, it is better that you try lighter workout activities. In terms of picking up the food, you must have an exact schedule of your meal at night. It must be before 6 pm. If you exceed on the given time, you are most likely to gain weight. Then also try doing your workout on a treadmill. It never gets old actually. There's this shop from xtraining.com where you could see different types of treadmill applicable to your age and size.
Well, I just read this and was gathering comments together so both you and anyone else can improve theirselves/become healthier.
For ones who don’t already do things like Cheerleading, Dance, and Gymnastics won’t need such ideas, it truely depends on how often and or how long you work for.
Enough said, here’s some ideas for the Non-Active:
•50-100 Push Ups
•50-100 Curl Ups (Each Arm, Possibly, Modify If You’d Like)
•50-100 Squats
•50-100 Burps
•50-100 Sit Ups
•Holding 5 Pound Weights Out To Your Sides For 1 Minute

(You DO NOT Have To Do All This Everyday, Possibly About 3 Times A Week Such As Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Pick and Choose What Exercises Are Most Comfortable For You!)
As much as walking or jogging for an hour would help, those are some moves you would probably be able to do in your room. I hope this helped, cause let me tell you I’m trying this as well xD
