Whatcan I do to make my voice not be ruined?

Details:

I Took a recording of me screaming for 2 minutes ( don't ask me why ). Now my throat hurts and I can't sing high notes. What can I do?

Drink plenty of water,rest your voice and try not to shout/raise your voice for some time.
