What would you look for in an art exhibit in order to take someone there on a first date?

I would look for something that is appropritae for the situation. For example I love apocalyptic art, like Hieronymus Bosch artwork, with all the pictures of Hell and Death and what-not. And all of those Gustave Dore painting that were used in the Dantes Inferno books, but I wouldn't show something like that to my girlfriend, especially not on a first date. Look for something settling and something to fit the mood. Try French Expressionism. Alot of those are nice, calm, and colorful. Art work by Van Gogh, Claude Monet are good. Also check out Victorian Neoclassicalism and Romanticism. These are usually beautiful and extravagent works of art.
