What would the god son of my uncle be to me?

Probably no relation. Anyone could be appointed god father/mother to a child. The parents of that guy could be family friends with your uncle and they have asked him to be god father to their son. Traditionally being a god parent means you will look after that child should something happen to their parents. You would become their guardian until they are legal adults. It has probably a religious background.
