This is for a novel I'm working on. There's this scene towards the end where the villain of the story gets his blood frozen solid. It happens instantaneously and no other area of his body is effected. What would happen to you if this were to really occur? Would they die? Would they live? What would the effects be if they lived?

Blood is present in all tissues of the body, organs and muscles etc.
If your blood froze all at once the liquid would expand in volume by 9%, this would burst some major blood vessels and almost all of the minor ones.
The brain would be crushed and death would be instantaneous, this sudden expansion would probably tear the heart and split the liver and kidneys.
There is no way to survive the experience, but *if* you could the core temperature of the body would drop so low that hypothermia would kill within a minute or two.
Yup, nice answer :)
