What would happen if a parent in Britain refused to buy a school uniform?

If a parent refused to buy a uniform their child would be excluded from school.

School uniforms are just about the cheapest clothing you can buy so there's no reason not to do so.

As an aside, the children dressing uniformly reduces bullying.
