The other day I drove my car as normal and then parked it at my house and locked it.. Half an hour later the alarm started going off.. So I went to see what was going on...the whole stereo and airconditioning part of the dash was all melted and on fire.. Which made the windshield go all black and all this stringy plastic go everywhere. The previous owner of the car had a subwoofer installed but other than that it has all genuine Mitsubishi parts.. Wondering if anyone has heard of this happening before? I called my insurance up about it and they took me as a joke. It's a Mitsubishi 2010 hatchback.. I've looked through recalls but nothing has come up.
