Have been taking this medicine for 2 years. I feel they have not helped me at all. I have this jerky left arm and shoulder which was not there 2 years ago. If I hold off taking the morning doseage there is no jerking. That starts soon after swallowing the stuff. I am sad most of the time now too. Am on a new anti-depressant - Allegron and feel it is making me worse. I have no other visible Pakinson traits. I am 64, female, can still most things, dancing is difficult though, as is heavy housework. My blood pressure is normal to low. I also take medication for an under active thryoid. I am losing faith in my general practitioner and also my neurologist. All they seem to do is increase or decrease my medication. How can I find out if I really do have Parkinsons Disease. I initially visited a general practitioner for a slight shake in my left wrist and hand. I guess that has now almost disappeared and I can type normally which was very difficult before diagnosis. I would prefer to put up with a shaky hand than a visibly noticeable jerky shoulder and arm.
