I guess you mean American Indian. There have been hundreds of millions of native Americans who never camped for a minute.

There were thousands of tribes, some no more than a family. Each tribe lived according to whatever conditions they found. Of course the children were treated differently. It's only crazy people who think boys and girls are somehow equal. They are not and never can be. The girls make the babies and the boys bring food to feed them. When things get bad, the boys die defending them. So it has always been.
