And did they interact. Did house slaves share rooms with them?. I know that indentured servants suffered beatings and other cruel punishments at the hands of their masters similar to the way slaves were treated. Even though most indentured servants worked for 4-7 years before their contract was up and they were free many worked as servants for a life time and were passed around to different masters. Some were even kidnaped from Europe and brought end to american though most came on agreement that after they served their time they would have freedom. Slaves and indentured servants must have interacted and even befriended one a nother. I'm just wondering.
What type of relationships did indentured servants and slaves have? (In America)?

well back when they use to buy servants and slaves it was like they had rules they must follow you worked up the line to comunicate some were not allowed to speak with others no master is what they said or yes master some used for other favors to the owners they were sold to others they were punished for breaking the rules and they were whipped for it others said things made friends with other owners agianst the rules being friends with other servants was okay as long as you didn't break the rules sometimes if you spoke badley you got punished or did something totally wrong depending on what it was it was punished as soon as their contract was up or you won the right to not be servant or slave you was freed watch jango it is a perfect movie about those times
