My friends and I always come together and get one big gift for each others birthdays. We usually by something along the lines of coach. However, the particular girl we are getting a gift for just got a new bag and we all agreed that getting her a new one is not a good idea. There are 6 of us chipping in putting in about $30 each...she's turning 14...any ideas???? please lmk!

What is she into?
How about an experience she won't forget? Like an outing with all her friends? As in, you send her off, either by herself or with all your friends and do something she or you all normally wouldn't do? It might be a concert, a spa day, a paragliding adventure (well perhaps not the last one, but you get the idea.)
An expensive necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings. Maybe a years supply of nail polish. If she's a reader, give her a bunch of books on her favorite topic. Outdoorsy? Take her on a special hike with a picnic, then take her to the amusement park the next day. Really really girly? Shopping spree. ( be prepared to spend a lot)
maybe a giant stuffed animal. ( they're like $20 each)
Tomboyish? Nerf gun with hundreds of bullets.
Artsy? New paints or canvasses. Maybe even an easel.
Animal lover? Jacket or shirt that had a giant tiger/ cat/ dog on the front. Or a new pet. Or a trip to the zoo with a backstage pass.
