He is my very close friend ...his mom died when he ws young .now he behaves quite robotic n has stopped enjoying his life ...everyone at college calls him a robot ..n i dont like tht at all...i want to help him..please help me to bring him back to life...

I'm no psychologist but since he seems to be hanging on to memories of his mom and associating them with negative thoughts, maybe you could try to help change his perspective into a more positive one? Also consider taking him to some of his favourite places and give him a chance to get everything out of his system. Hope this helps :)
I think it is so traumatic for him... I don’t think I can live without my mother as well Aim no psychiatrist but I know how hard for him to lose his mother this is based on my experience when my mom went to abroad... I know its different stories but it is hard... I think the best way for you is to be with your friend all the time... that way he can see that his friends are with him :)
