What to do if locked out of computer, because of loss of password? (Windows 7)?

(I'm typing on a friends computer at the moment.) I was having some difficulties with my printer, So I usually just Restart my computer and it prints and takes me right back to my home-screen. Meaning that, I haven't had to put my password in for about: 2 Years. My "Hint" is not very helpful and I need to get on to my desktop. I have been trying all day, literally, all-day. I have thought of every single thing that could possible be my password. Does anyone have some sort of number I call or is there some way I could get on my desk top without memory wiping it.

I suggest Installing windows to another hard drive.  Then unless the files are encrypted, you should be able to access your files,  If so, you can copy them to the new hard drive then format and re-install Windows to your original hard drive and copy your files back to the original hard drive.

Hirens Boot Cd if you have a little experience you can use it to access the sam file and create a new password, or take it to your local shop most charge around $30 for this service
