What time is it in military time?

The time in military time? I want to know this so badly cause my dad is in the military. He asked mom to ask me if I can identify what time it is in military time like right now...?

1 AM - is 0100. from there it simply goes by the hour for 24 hours as follows:

2 AM - is 0200

Noon - 1200

4PM - 1600

Midnight 2400

Please take this response with caution as I am a bit vague in the facts but it will give an over view. For UK, local time Grenage Mean Time (GMT) is used but zulu time can also take presidence internationally. Zulu A fixed time based on GMT plus 1 hour (I think in the Summer, but I'm not to sure) that works across the world so everyone is on the same time regardless of day or night it will be the same time around the world. If your dad is in an active war zone or on an exercise he may well be using Zulu time. If he is testing you this may help but if you just want to chat to him he is probably on local time to that area.

Ok say it 1638 take 2 from 16 and you get 1438 take the 1 away and boom its 4:38 this is the easiest way I know its fast and easy hope this helps.
