I'd love to help you but I dont know enough about them. I used to have a diffuser and I bought my oils in a new age store.
There are lots of brands out there and the lists are many of some one wanting to tell you the top 7, 17, 10, 12, 17, and 20 brands. The strange thing is the people posting those lists all happen to sell oils themselves so you know they are on their own lists.
Choosing one promotes their business and I hate to do that not knowing the quality of their product.
The one thing I did notice is that the Vitamin Shoppe and GNC (both well known vitamin supplement chains) seem to carry oils. To be honest, I'd trust them before anybody else. If you choose to buy from Amazon they have a good return policy.
As for the specific oil scent that is all the same and any list should work because its not about brands just what the oils are supposed to do.
I'd Google "what are the best essential oils scents"
The starter kits are a gamble if they have the best quality oils; could be fun buying one and trying it but check if those two vitamin stores have them first.
