I've been in drama for the past three years and I did Musical Theatre for one of those years, but I'm almost a senior and I have to choose one since I have to do a foreign language... I'm so confused on what to do. I mean in Drama, we obviously do dramas and comedies, and Theatre is for Musicals. I just don't know which one is best to do for my senior year. Any suggestions? I would really love to talk to someone who has experience with this.
What should I do if I'm wanting to Major in Performing Arts?

I love musical theatre!! I definitely think it's the route to go down as with drama you are restricting yourself to just acting wjere as with musical theatre you are giving yourself a wider range as you have dancing, singing and acting to rely on :) do you want to go into the performing arts industry? I'm 15 and that's my dream but my parents can't afford the cost of dance lessons, having a vocal coach and paying for me to go musical theatre classes and then pay for me to spend a term in a musical theatre school. If this is what you want to do with your life, you need to try exceptionally hard as it's not easy. Most schools won't take you on if you don't even do grade 5 ballet!! Wish you all the best and would love it if you could check out my question too!!
