There's this girl in my class that I really like, but I don't know if she likes me. I've complimented her several times with things like, "I like your hair," and, "Your eyes are out of this world." She took them well and showed lots of gratitude. I've also chatted with her several times as well. But every time I walk past her, she speeds up her walking speed. Also I try talking to her sometimes when shes with her friends, but she ignores me. I just don't really know what to think. What should I do about the situation?

Just tell her, take it from a girl, even if you don't like the guy, it is super nice to find out someone likes you. Say something like "I just wanted you to know, I think your great and admire you," you can't be rejected saying that because your not asking her out or anything, if she seems cold, just say it was a compliment. You compliment her and stuff and woman tend to figure out you like them really quickly.
She most likely knows and is avoiding you thats why she speeds up her walking speed, and ignores you when you talk to her with her friends.
The only way I see this could work out is by starting to be a little bit of a d*ck...but not too much of a d*ck.
Here is how. Talk to her like you do but be a bit funny. Crack a joke or two (not like why the chicken cross the road kinda joke....more like make fun of yourself. Lets say you are skinny, say: "Man I really am skinny maybe I should get a Job at a hunted house" xD )
When she's with her friends just say "Hey you" and move on.
Above all be confident in yourself and if things don't work out dont care about it. There are many girls out there.
