After my mom was diagnosed with diabetes, she started to eat a lot of healthy foods and exercises regularly. This makes her blood sugar lower than she's used to and she becomes irritable. This has happened a few times. She'll come into my room at night and be really angry, but she's in this kind of trance. She doesn't really know what she's doing and she'll be mad. She's hit me a couple times and left marks on my stomach and face. Then, the next morning, she'll be all happy and won't know where my bruises came from. I know she's not a good liar so she really doesn't know what she's doing to me. I don't know how to fix this or tell her about it. (My mother doesn't have a drinking problem, a drug problem or a brain problem, she's completely normal).

After that happened not getting any sleep is normal. If she hurt you at night it’s common that you now subconsciously find this routine and are used to lack of sleep or being scared to sleep. It can be fixed though. I wish you the best of luck.
Not getting to sleep is easier to deal with. Get B-50 or B-100 vitamins. Vitamin B2 is a water soluble dye that turns urine bright yellow. When the color fades, it's time for another dose. Warm milk and calcium pills at bed time are the best sleep aid there is. Read some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right.
I did talk to a teacher at my school and it's much better now. My mom is getting help,, but I'm not getting any sleep. It is a weird situation, but I'll find a way to work through it.
