I recently got $250. My parents haven't gotten my birthday gift yet. My parents are going to use my $250 dollars I got for my birthday and buy my gift. I don't have anything I want to buy at the moment but I still my gift (not my gift spent for my gift). What should I do?

Use the $250 to open a bank or savings account so the money accrues interest until you find something you want to spend it on. Also, this stops your parents spending it on your gift.
