So I am in a weird situation. I have known this girl for about 10 years now. I really care about her. We tried dating about 4 years ago with limited success, lasted about a month. Now, we've faded in and out of each others lives since then. But in all that time, I have never got over her, when she or I comes back, so do my feelings, strong as ever. Usually lasting at least a few months before we're talking again. Sometimes we talk frequently and often. I know we enjoy talking to each other, as we've both said that. We have quite a bit in common, and we're never at a loss for topics. I’ve asked her out again a few times since the last time we tried, but she always seems to have a BF. And no, I know she's not lying about it to get rid of me, I have that confirmed. Well, now she's single again, but dealing with a stalker, she lives in New Mexico, I in Portland. She's not looking for a relationship right now, as she wants some time to focus on her painting and writing. I don't know what to do?
What should I do?

Just seems like its never a good time, or the right time. The long distance isn't a big deal, we've both been in long distance relationships before.

I should add, about the stalker, just a guy who wants to date her, but won't take no for an answer.
