I want something that isn't too hard to understand (I am a beginner btw), but the most important thing to me is durability. I want something that can sew through thicker fabrics and multiple layers, and it can last for a long time.
Number of stitches doesn't matter to me much, but I want a one-step buttonhole.
I have checked different sites typing in things such as "best sewing machines" or "sewing machine comparisons" but I normally get different answers. The Brother CS6000i is commonly mentioned but I want to see if there is an overall better one out there, especially in the long run.
As for price, it should be below $500.
Please give me detailed responses with links (if you can) and thank you!
