Try to eat at least 25-35 grams of fiber a day it helps calm the symptoms you have with diverticulosis.Try and prevent constipation by drinking lots of water and other fluids this to can help control the symptoms. Also fiber rich foods whole grain breads pasta, cereals ,beans kidney and black apples, pears, prunes, squash, potatoes, peas, spinach, avoid hard to digest foods.,Nuts, corn, popcorn, tomatoes, cucumbers theses can get stuck in your colon which can in turn cause inflamation.
You need to eat fiber. Two slices of whole grain bread every day or veggies with every meal. Magnesium strengthens muscles, calms nerves, stops cramps, and fights infections. Get epsom salt. It is cheap, five bux for a year's supply. Put a dose in a glass with water to cover and stir until it dissolves. Fill the glass with lemonade and drink it. You can take it without the lemonade but you won't like the taste. Milk of magnesia is more expensive but nicer tasting and gentler laxative action. Your choice.
