So what are you talking about? Some classrooms don't have seating because the students stand. (Wood shop, chem lab, gym, and like that.) From ancient times to about the 17th century, schools did not use classrooms at all: classes were conducted outside while walking. Prussia made the change to classes inside with students seated.

For most classes in elementary school, we were in groups of 4 and 6, tables facing each other.
The anomaly was, in my 6th grade class, we were in rows of two.
In high school, we usually had rows. But it depended on the class. Some were seated in a "round table" arrangement, in a semi-circle around the whole class in two rows, with the teacher's desk always at the front.
Thats cool information and it help a lot. Sorry I not ever good getting my point across but I'm primealy trying to found out a classroom scenery and seating arrangement.
